Who are some of the best axe makers who make IATF legal axes? 

There are a number of wonderful axe makers, but I only own some from a few.

Shannon of ABC Axes, based out of North Carolina, known for their colorful handles (lots of custom art). The axes I have from ABC are the Honey Comb and the Rainbow Premier

Goose of 81 Axes is based out of Alberta, Canada and is known for their slight curve in the handle as well as beautiful inlays. Their axes typically have a solid core with two other pieces of wood around the core, sometimes with rosin inlays. I have a number of axes from Goose, but namely the Shorty, Shadow Commander, and the Jolly Green Giant.

Kevin Bradley of Kevin Bradley Axes, based out of New Jersey, is an axe maker known for their thinner curved handles. Queenie HBO is a huge advocate for Kevin's work, having thrown one of his axes during IATC 2026. I have the Thin Assassin from Kevin.
